Do I still get my economic stimulus check if I filed my tax return late?
I filed my tax return on April 17th, only two days after the required filing date. Since I filed late will I still recieve my stimulus payment? According to the payment schedule I should have gotten my payment two weeks ago.

Just wait for 2 months.
In the first lot only those whose return was processed by April 15, 2008 are getting the rebate.
Go to http://www.irs.gov. Click Where is my Refund? Then click Status of my Stimulus Rebate.
For information on stimulus tax rebate read: http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/02/are-you-eligible.html
According to the payment schedule, your return had to be filed in time to be PROCESSED by the IRS by April 15th for the schedule to apply to you. Yours wasn’t even filed by then so the schedule does NOT apply to you.
Expect your rebate sometime AFTER the first round finishes up in early July.
