₪₪₪ How can I stop the IRS from garnishing my wages without having to pay thousands of dollars to a company?
I have been sent a letter to my employer which states that my wages will be garnished by the IRS due to back taxes which I have been served a tax levy for. I recently have moved to Georgia and changed jobs and trying to support a wife and four kids. I drive 40 miles one way to work and we are a low-income family. I dont know if I will be able to work if my wages are garnished and I’m afraid that this will cause us to have to move away or become homeless. Please if anyone have tax experience and know how I can prevent this from happening, I like to know thank you so very much.
