How do you sue a police officer for harassment?
I’m not going to but it seems like this should be possible since many make the law up as they go to harass innocent people. There should be some recourse to make them think twice, of course there has to be a check and balance so as to keep people who are clearly guilty from abusing the same system and hampering the police from their job as well.

And what is your definition of “police harassment”?
you can sue a cop for any thing he doe,s and if he is proven to step over his line of jurisdiction you can collect damages and it is better to sue in both his or her personal and professional capacity, unless you are familiar with procedural police then get a Attorney preferable from another city or town,

Good luck with that… If you feel you are being treated unfairly go to their I.A (internal affairs) They do take those complaints seriously. What do you hope to gain in court. Money from the cop? Have you ever seen what they make? Maybe they should be able to sue the criminals who do the same for them but are unable to prove the crime? How many people do you know who get yelled at, kicked, spit on, pushed, punched or shot at on a daily basis? I.A is the checks and balances system. Trust me.
