₪₪₪ I found out today that I owe the IRS $1800 due to a 10% penalty for dipping early into my IRA in 2007?

Can I expect the IRS to work with me on paying the $1800? My goal is to ask for 90 days to pay the penalty because I am getting a bonus within 90 day. Do you think they will let me do this? What about monthly payment? Or are they going to ask for the money right away? I have 30 days to respond to the IRS.
P.S I do not want to play the I did not know card with them even though I did not know.
