₪₪₪ I work in Texas and was overpaid. They also want me to pay back the taxes.?
Do I have to pay the taxes back as well as the money they overpaid me? On my first paycheck with my company they paid me an extra $900 and are requesting that I pay back $1300. $400 of this money was taken out in taxes and I feel like that’s not fair that I have to pay the taxes back when it will come up next year on my tax return. So do I pay the taxes for their mistake, or just the money they overpaid me?
