₪₪₪ Who used TurboTax to e-file their 2010 Tax Return?
I’m posting this in hopes to gather clearer information regarding people who used TurboTax to e-file and have either received or not received their tax refunds.
To start off, I e-filed on 1/18/10 @ noon and it was accpeted around 6PM the same day, 1/18/10. I chose to have the filing fees deducted from my refund. As everyone else, I expected my refund on 1/29/10 going by the IRS refund cycle chart. The past 4 years I have always received my refund on the date specified by the IRS refund cycle chart.
Since my return was accepted, the IRS WMR site has had no information for me as well as the IRS phone system. This was as of 4PM today. I received the SBBT message that my tax refund wasn’t received on the anticipated date, 1/29/10, therefore I should look for it the following Friday, 2/5/10.
I’m at a loss as to why WMR hasn’t shown any info for me since the 18th. I understand the IRS got hammered this year with early filers, but some information would be sufficient by now, 14 days later.
Can anyone who reads this please post their info like I have above (file & acceptance date, whether WMR or IRS phone system updated and if so on what day, also if SBBT received your refund and if so when you saw it in your bank account).
Thanks, and please only respond if you used TurboTax as I know of the whole debacle with TaxBrain and the mis-routing of returns to the wrong bank.
FYI…I did notice on the IRS phone system that it asks you when you efiled your return. Specifically if you filed it after 1/11/10. The date has been updating each day. Friday it asked if you efiled after 1/9/10. Could this mean they are only up to the returns filed on 1/11/10? Just an educated guess.
