Why do you think Charles Rangel won’t pay his back taxes and penalties?
He has undeclared income from rental properties and “errors” in past returns related to credits he was never entitled to take.
Is he ignoring the problem because he already has a job, and the others (Geithner and Daschle) feel obligated to pay so they can be confirmed?

Because he suffers from years of an “entitlement mentality.”
He is the chair of the committee that investigates congress for not paying taxes, what is he going to do, investigate himself? I wonder if he’ll find himself guilty…
Because we the people allow it to happen and allow it to continue happening.
There have been two “justice systems” in the USA for quite some time. The court system for this with money and the penal system for those without.
Because Rangel is a perfect example of why term limits work, so they can oust these people who get so entrenched in the Gov’t, and feel they are above the laws they write.
He’s also the Chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means, which writes all the tax laws, amongst things. Go figure.
Entitlement Mentality at work — Don’t you know who the heck he is?! His rank in society trumps having to follow the rules inflicted upon the masses. Or, perhaps this is just his way of getting the reparations the Fed Gov’t owes him.
MMM, BECAUSE HE’S BLACK AND AND A DEMOCRAP.
PERIOD.
in the way of nature … all this illegal activity is like a tsunami,- it will catch up with all of them. They won’t see it coming.
